By accessing or using Nexus Bot ("the Service," "Nexus," "the Bot") — including any associated web dashboard, API, or related services operated by TheMeanOne Developments ("we," "us," "our") — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") in their entirety.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately cease use of the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including free users, paid subscribers, and server administrators who add Nexus to their Discord servers.
Nexus Bot is a Discord bot and associated web dashboard that provides server management, moderation, leveling, ticketing, and other community tools for Discord servers. The Service operates under a freemium model with optional paid subscription tiers.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
What "Lifetime" means: Your Lifetime license remains valid and active for as long as the Nexus Bot service remains operational. You will not be charged recurring fees. You receive all future feature updates included in the Pro tier at no additional cost.
What "Lifetime" does NOT mean: The Lifetime plan does not guarantee that the Service will operate indefinitely. No software service can make such a guarantee. Should TheMeanOne Developments cease operations, be acquired, or permanently discontinue the Nexus Bot service, Lifetime licenses will be honored for as long as the service remains active but cannot extend beyond the operational life of the service itself.
Service continuity: TheMeanOne Developments is committed to maintaining the Nexus Bot service and will make commercially reasonable efforts to continue operating the platform. We operate on a cost-recovery and profit model — subscription and lifetime revenues directly fund server infrastructure, development, and operational costs. Your purchase directly supports the continued operation of the service.
The Lifetime plan is tied to a Discord User ID. It may be transferred to a different Discord server you own through the dashboard transfer feature, but may not be transferred to another Discord user account without express written permission from TheMeanOne Developments.
Subscription Plans: Monthly and yearly subscription plans are billed on a recurring basis through PayPal. By subscribing, you authorize TheMeanOne Developments to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your PayPal account or by contacting support. Upon cancellation, your access to premium features will continue until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.
Refund Policy:
- Monthly subscriptions: Eligible for a full refund within 48 hours of initial purchase if the service was not substantially used.
- Yearly subscriptions: Eligible for a pro-rated refund within 7 days of initial purchase.
- Lifetime plans: No refunds, except where required by applicable law.
- Renewals: No refunds on subscription renewals. Cancel before your renewal date to avoid future charges.
Chargebacks & Disputes: Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us to resolve the issue may result in immediate and permanent termination of your account and all associated licenses. We take fraudulent chargebacks seriously. If you have a billing concern, please contact us at support@nexusbot.online before initiating any dispute.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 14 days in advance of any price increase. Lifetime purchasers are not subject to price changes.
You agree not to use Nexus Bot to:
- Violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
- Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm other users
- Distribute spam, malware, or unauthorized advertisements
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Sell, resell, or sublicense access to the Service to third parties
- Create fake reviews or manipulate ratings
Violation of this policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice or refund, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms, Discord's Terms of Service, or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Discord API outages, maintenance windows, and technical issues are outside our control and do not constitute a breach of these Terms.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THEMEANONE DEVELOPMENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. You agree to contact us at support@nexusbot.online before initiating any legal proceeding.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, both parties agree to binding arbitration rather than litigation, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
